1st Annual Inafa' Maolek Bed Race

Saturday, November 20, 2010 - MCV Cable Cares was proud to support Inafa' Maolek with their FIRST ANNUAL INAFA MAOLEK BED RACE. This event featured a fun-filled day of corporate and government-support organizations competing against eachother to complete a race course that included obstacles and lots of fun. The event also featured activities for the kids, as well as food and drink concessions making for a fun-filled event the whole family enjoyed, and all for the purpose of raising much-needed funds for Inafa' Maolek. MCV Cable Cares was proud to participate and looks forward to next year's event.

Inafa' Maolek is a non-profit organization that is working to increase peace within our community. They assist people experiencing conflict with others to find a peaceful solution through mediation, conflict coaching and restorative justice utilizing workshops and presentations on conflict resolution and violence prevention. They also train students to be peer mediators providing them with the skills to help their classmates resolve conflicts amongst themselves. These services are available for personal and professional (workplace) use.
