MCV and Pepsi Donate to GPD
MCV Broadband and Pepsi Guam Bottling donated some much-needed equipment to the Guam Police Department using funds raised during the 4th Annual MCV/Pepsi Charity Golf Tournament. The equipment donated included a Network Printer Copier to the Highway Patrol Department, three hundred aluminum tactical flashlights (one for every GPD officer), a lighted traffic baton for every marked GPD vehicle, one hundred traffic cones, and two laptop computers for the C.A.P.E. and Reserve office. A donation total of $12,000!
The MCV/Pepsi Charity Golf Tournament, held April 2nd at Starts Golf Resort, was a huge success thanks to the 200 golfers that participated, and all the sponsors that supported the event, including major sponsors Bank of Hawaii, GPO, IT&E, and Shell Guam, as well as AK, Cost U Less, 76 and Circle K, Royal Bics, Nissan Guam, Marianas Steamship, First Hawaiian Bank, Ambros, iConnect, True Western Inc, Calvo's Insurance, IMI Cornelius, Mid-Pacific Distributors, Horizon Lines, Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group, ASC Trust Corp., American Express, Docomo Pacific, Matson, Island Equipment, Bank Pacific and Hawaiian Rock.
