MCV and Pepsi Donate to GPD

MCV Broadband and Pepsi Guam Bottling donated some much-needed equipment to the Guam Police Department using funds raised during the 4th Annual MCV/Pepsi Charity Golf Tournament. The equipment donated included a Network Printer Copier to the Highway Patrol Department, three hundred aluminum tactical flashlights (one for every GPD officer), a lighted traffic baton for every marked GPD vehicle, one hundred traffic cones, and two laptop computers for the C.A.P.E. and Reserve office. A donation total of $12,000!

The MCV/Pepsi Charity Golf Tournament, held April 2nd at Starts Golf Resort, was a huge success thanks to the 200 golfers that participated, and all the sponsors that supported the event, including major sponsors Bank of Hawaii, GPO, IT&E, and Shell Guam, as well as AK, Cost U Less, 76 and Circle K, Royal Bics, Nissan Guam, Marianas Steamship, First Hawaiian Bank, Ambros, iConnect, True Western Inc, Calvo's Insurance, IMI Cornelius, Mid-Pacific Distributors, Horizon Lines, Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group, ASC Trust Corp., American Express, Docomo Pacific, Matson, Island Equipment, Bank Pacific and Hawaiian Rock.

Also helping to make the event a success were staff volunteers from Pepsi Guam Bottling and MCV Broadband. MCV and Pepsi choose beneficiaries that support the safety of the Guam Community as well as programs that benefit our island's children.
