MCV & Pepsi Donate to the Guam Police Department (GPD)
PRESS RELEASE - For more information contact Camille Denight, Marketing Manager, at 969-4078 or cdenight@mcvguam.com May 10, 2012 - MCV Broadband and Pepsi Guam Bottling will be making a monetary donation towards the much needed repair of Guam Police Department vehicles using funds raised during the 4th Annual MCV & Pepsi Charity Golf Tournament. With the generous services of Genos & Anthonys Auto Shop and the total of $14,000 in donations, GPD will have their vehicles back in operation. The MCV & Pepsi Charity Golf Tournament, held April 2nd at Starts Golf Resort, was a huge success due to the 192 golfers that participated, as well as all the sponsors that supported the event, including major sponsors Bank of Hawaii, GPO, IT&E and IP&E. Other sponsors included AK, Cost U Less, 76 and Circle K, Royal Bics, Nissan Guam, First Hawaiian Bank, Budweiser, Pacsports, Bank of Guam, iConnect, Calvo's Insurance, IMI Cornelius, Miller Lite Ð Island Taste, Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group, ASC Trust Corp., Docomo Pacific, Matson, Island Equipment, Bank Pacific, Frito Lay, FT International and Dial Rent-to-Own. Also helping to make the event a success were the staff volunteers from Pepsi Guam Bottling, MCV Broadband and the Guam Police Department.
